Natec Octopus review - a great office set at an affordable price
Natec is a well-known Polish company specializing in the production of a wide range of computer hardware for home and office use. In its offer you will find a lot of interesting devices at a very affordable price, such as keyboards, mice, mouse pads, audio devices, cases or even thermal conductive pastes. This is not my first contact with this brand, as on the pages of our website I have already had the opportunity to test its products more than once, which did not disappoint expectations. Today, however, we will take a look at the Natec Octopus wireless set consisting of a low-profile keyboard and mouse. For such a set we will have to pay about 159 PLN, which at first glance seems a very bargain amount. However, we will find out whether it is worth investing in this item only after more extensive testing. Finally, I'll just add that the manufacturer has also provided for the possibility of buying each of these devices separately, they appear under the names: Natec Dolphin (Keyboard) and Natec Osprey (Mouse).
But before we get to the specifications, I'll try to give a little insight into the features and some key information about the Natec Octopus. Both pieces of equipment are powered by replaceable batteries. For the keyboard these are two AAA cells, while for the mouse only one in AA format goes in. Connectivity is realized via two independent Bluetooth channels or 2.4 GHz radio transmission. In total, we can assign three devices simultaneously and switch between them on the fly using dedicated buttons. As befits this manufacturer, Octopus was created with exemplary operating culture in mind, so that the click is as quiet as possible and does not disturb us, our co-workers or bystanders. It is guaranteed by the quiet scissor mechanism used in the keyboard and the slient switches in the mouse.
